The perfect cup of tea: bring fresh cold water to a boil. Hot water or water which has been heated previously will have less oxygen in it and will make the tea taste flat. Use 1 teabag per 8 ounce cup. Pour boiling water over tea and brew for a full 5 minutes. Some herbal teas will take a minute or two longer. Remove tea bag from cup and serve adding milk, honey, or fresh lemon juice if desired. For iced tea, brew double strength
