What is cross stitch? Counted cross stitchings are made by using cotton thread, or floss, to stitch a design onto a blank piece of cloth. Usually 2-3 pieces of floss are threaded onto a needle and tiny little X's are stitched onto the cloth in the appropriate places and colors to form the design. This detailed work is extremely time consuming. As an example, Orig009, took approximately 12 hours; while Orig004 took 240 hours.

Peace Love Hope Snow Family Completed Cross Stitch -This completed cross stitch measures approx. 11 WX6.5H" It has been stitched on light blue Aida cloth. The words Peace, Hope, Joy, Faith and Love are stitched above the heads of an adorable snow family. Family member Momma is holding her purse- ready for a day at the mall, perhaps? Big Brother has a green scarf and red hat with earmuffs. Little sister is decked out in a pink hat with matching tu-tu. Dad has a blue scarf, green hat, and is smoking a pipe.
