How to clean a collectible teapot -- For wonderful tea every time.
Never put your teapot into the dishwasher or sudsy water.
After each use, pour out the tea, rinse with clean water, and turn upside down to dry. You may cloth dry the outside but not the inside.
To remove built up tannin from a glazed, glass or silver pot, fill with a solution of 2 tbsp baking soda and boiling water. Soak overnight. In the morning, empty, rinse thoroughly and leave to dry.
