Tips for using Collectible Teapots.

Golden rule for brewing the perfect pot of tea.

  1. Use loose leafed or bags of tea and a suitable teapot. Fill a kettle with fresh cold water from the faucet (botttled or distilled water if your faucet water is not up to par.) Bring to a boil.
  2. When water is nearly boiling, pour a little into the teapot, swill around, and then pour out.
  3. If using loose tea, place 1 teaspoon tea per cup into the teapot (or inside an infuser in the teapot.) Otherwise, place bags into teapot.
  4. Pour the boiling water from the kettle into the teapot, directly onto teabag or leaves. Do not allow the kettle to boil for too long. Perfect temperature for white or green tea is 150-203 degrees, not boiling.
  5. Put the lid on and leave to brew.
